So as posted before the question remains, how can Baltia be faulted on something that cannot be visually determined when slide is signed off, sealed and delivered as ready to go with doors sealed and taped and FAA inspected? The scapegoat should not be Baltia, and perhaps not the FAA (in this particular instance) but rather the Vendor or Goodrich for poor quality control and workmanship. The vendor should be sanctioned and fined in the very least and Baltia given the pass the rightly deserve.
