That 180hr jet streem prediction model currently has the jet streem entering the great lakes at 48 hrs from now and sweeps across the east.
At 72hrs it is in New york but it's brief and is immediately flushed out with a warmer diagonal rain-line from hawaii/mexico by 156hrs
At 132hrs something new forms in the north east pacific ~ north west above us... who knows what it will do.

It is the continued recurring diagonal crap from the low west that will keep us warmer than average.
You can tap your toe in disgust holding that hope trade waiting for hell to freeze over until that changes.
