It makes perfect sense for XKEM and Nigeria to work on HIV and Malaria drugs. Neither afflictions are being addressed properly in Africa. Malaria would be the easiest one to address and I believe there are alot of Nigerians already using native medicine to effectively treat and prevent malaria.
Providing a safer and less expensive home grown treatment should be a relatively easy joint operation for XKEM and Nigeria to collaborate on. Such an announcement would be powerful.
