I sincerely doubt that any influencing will occur;

The trick at those professional conferences is
to arrange sessions and speakers where the audience will
show up and stay awake. Obviously the session chair
thought inviting his judge would score some points...

If THJW is indeed the senior jurist on the panel,
it is abundantly clear to me that he would steer far away
from matters pending in his court. Remember that this is a
conspicuous public forum, for garsh sakes...

I imagine that he has plenty of historic non-rmbs injunctions that he can discuss, and the recent SC rulings regarding Eabey and Marcosoft would easily supply grist for half of the allotted time.
I think that the marcon attorneys have nothing to gain and plenty to lose by any improper activities with these particular judges. I think that they also have a former RMBS atty, perhaps of FTC era?

Don't forget how solicitous these lawyers can be during non-trial interactions.
Remember that just yesterday, neither side had the temerity to bring his typo to the court's attention, even when their failure to do so in advance did embarrass the court and delay the proceedings.
OK, I guess the atty's could try to look competent in front of the judges, but they seem to prefer obsequious in my observations.
IF anything, THJW might opine on the reasons that he uses and probably will still issue injunctions, and may well put a bit of fear into the crowd.
