The way I read the circular is that maintenance can't slack off on the slides...maintaining them, repacking them and repairing them...just a heads-up to all airlines. Since most airlines do it in-house and have quality control assurance in place the vendor that Baltia picked was probably below par and did Baltia even send a maintenance representative to oversee the repacking the slides after six or seven evac tests?

That is 35 repacking jobs...sounds like Baltia is culpable in the slide failure if they didn't have someone overseeing the repacking process from a sub-par vendor. Baltia needs to look in the mirror and take some responsibility. GLTA
