I'm not so certain that this qualifies as a "lie"... A "lie" would be more like flying the car and then telling everyone that they didn't. More of a "missed deadline". Also, everyone who enjoys slamming this company also seems to like talking about "broken promises." Can't have a "broken promise" without a promise being made and I would ask you to produce any piece of news containing a quote that says "We promise...".
I think you should choose your words more carefully.
