Just wants to make me cry.

Murphy (Chairman of the Board) seems like a decent gent, but he's 90 years old and I'm afraid it looks like in my humble opinion he's being used and doesn't know it.

He buys shares and some times puts money into the company, but I don't see anyone from management (either of the two) buy two cents worth of shares.

Again, in my opinion, the idea here is to sell shares through some intermediary and use the cash to pay salaries. And keep doing that until every drop of blood has been squeezed from this rock, and then they'll declare BK when the cash from your buying isn't available to pay them.
