Is this cat and mouse game prevalent in other industrialized nations or only in the US because of the loose regulations and lax enforcement imposed by congress ?
I wonder in a one payer system where a big entity, usually the gvt, sets the price of most if not all drugs , there'd no room left to game the system.
I am aware this is a play between the pricing power of the pharmas and the insurance system inherent perhaps only for the US.
