Wow....this board has gone way out of control since the release of the FB post. I had to sit back and laugh at every one of the post that tried to discredit everything that Baltia stands for. I couldn't post anymore since I ran out of 15 posts. But it's been quite a laugh.
First of all, Izzzzzieeeee, I warned you. You kept presenting aviation terminology as it was facts, and someone turned it around and tried to shoot you down. I have to agree with what the person Ambrosia said. I couldn't defend you because you didn't heed my warnings. A Geometric Guide Strap is nothing more than a triangular shape that controls the member of a symmetrical product. IN this case, the member of the strap was either shorter or longer than the other, and was not able to release the tubes that support the slide, simultaneously. Therefore caused a twist. The manufacture didn't follow Baltia's instructions when it was being repackaged, and that caused a boo-boo. I was an Quality Assurance Inspector in the same industry before I got my degree in Mechanical Engineering, and once a product is build, there is a lot of paperwork that produces tractability as it is a requirement mandated by the FAA, that makes it much easier to track down the root cause. The error is certainly on the supplier's hand, and there will be a process change requirement to include a QA check of the strap before completing the packaging. That will help reduce the error from now on, but the cost will be increased impacting the entire industry.
Anyway....
The crowdfunder is not a desperate call for more money. I actually figured it out that it was a resource to use to expand the fleet in a faster pace. Brilliant move. Baltia is funded to see through the certification, and it will happen. I have no doubt about that.
For those of you who say it's a fail...give me a break! There is no determination yet to be made, so how can there be an appeal?
Insider information....that is a laugh! I have been in this business for 20 years and many more to come. Those guys who share the information is NOT insider information. It's public...give them a call, go visit them...they will tell you. Yakker was one of the guys that made a visit and learned a lot, and shared with us. Everything that he described was in alignment with the other sources, and I understood their language when they described their tour or conversations. Insider Information means that they make the trade before the public knows. No one made a trade! We all knew what was going on.
I am for Baltia. There are many who loves to tear down this company...don't let them get to you. They know you can make a lot of money with this company, and they want to deny you that blessing. Let them, and they win. Ignore them, and you win.
