Great post Wo. Trading is all about access to information, and speculating on it. At first I considered the sponsorship a non-event.. After reading your post I think there may be something there. CGC wouldnt invest in something they didn't think they could recoup the costs. So why is Tweed there? The most plausible answer is for PR, to build 'street cred' in their domestic market. Another reason would be to export to Jamaican medicinal patients who have the cash. And one of the attractions for travelers to Jamaica is the legal reciprocity it offers for foreign medical marijuana cardholders. The estimated 1.4 million Americans who will travel to Jamaica this year includes over 28,000 eligible to participate in Jamaica’s newly-legal medical cannabis program.. The farthest away possibility is full legalization and the ability to cater to all 1.4m American tourist, plus the millions more with USD and EUR. Im interested to see what becomes of this.
