The Richard X. Bove article that you and I both posted earlier today was bylined yesterday and expressed a similar statement on the subject of privatizing Fannie. The issue of reform is not going away in favor of some release and recap return to The Wild West where Freewheelin' Fannie ran roughshod over risk management constraint and fiscal moderation. That's what got it in trouble the last time.
