Definitely not trying to "stay local" as they are actively seeking U.S. distribution.
What I'm not sure if people have mentioned before, is that I've never been in an OTC that has this strong of an intellectual property. I can't speak for the company at all, I'm not in communication with them, but it would seem like they are trying to go the retail route (Whole Foods-type market), when I honestly believe this could be a huge licensing play if they ever wanted to go that route (I've heard no indication that they do).
The production advantage alone is enough to stay in, considering they can produce year round. This is a chemical-free farm technique that should be getting a lot more media coverage - and should be making more headway with retailers because of their unique situation.
