The 1.2bil that greacrest (or however it is spelled) is money that is oaid back through the power purchase agreement. The way this works is that graecrest estimates the total cost of building the facility, as well as the cost to produce the power if dnrg were doing this on their own. They make the whole system more efficient and cost effective, bringing down the cost to produce that power after the plant is built. Graecrest buys the power at a profit to dnrg, then sells the power to the open market at a mark up. DNRG doesn't pay back any cash to graecrest, instead graecrest gets to be the middle man to the power supply and profit off of the spread. The spread is where Graecrest gets their money back, by buying at a discount, the spread is where graecrest also makes profit, by selling at a premium. The federal dollars are just icing on the cake. I get a pull back after a %230 spike, but this is a no brainer. 2 billion dollars with no need to pay it back...this stock is heading to the moon. This is the big one that we've all dreamed about. The federal government of the US did the DD on this company and decided that they were the best candidate for the job among hundreds of potential candidates. If the full faith and credit of the US doesn't convince you, then go to bond market, because you don't belong in the stock market. This is the big one folks. get in or get out of the way...also, screw luck. None of that glta BS here. You MAKE it or you lose. Period
