Depends on how good your lawyer is. He can generally beat a traffic stop search much easier than a warrent..for which probable cause is a bigger factor...
Re your Q about black mold... In Vegas, you should not have much problem with that, low humidity, you see. But if you generate too much steam, it could form. Vent the steam.. If you see it beginning to form, do not hesitate. ZAP it with Clorox right away. Dry out the place!! Porus walls will allow the mold to form behind them. If it is allowed to spread, and dry, you gotta tear down walls and get some pros in to clean it up.
