I think actually putting money directly in the operations was the issue. If this is the case Fidelity and a bunch of brokerage house are going to have some serious issues for allowing U.S. investors to buy a created symbol.. U.S. Investment in a legally regulated LP is not against the law in Canada and is not a crime. But opening up a dispensary selling hells angel basement crap and bringing the gains back is a different story.
