Look, i'm not trying to argue or pointlessly talk negative about the company. The process just seems very illogical to me and not very planned.
Why would Coates need to take apart a generator sent by Cummins in order to take internal measurements to manufacture parts for a Cummins engine while they supposedly are working in some fashion of a business collaboration with Cummins? It doesn't make any sense. Cummins should and would be able to provide them that data immediately. Why waste "a relatively short timeframe" of waiting for components to be manufactured when you could have already had that started or even delivered? It's not in either of their interest. They could test, immediately take apart the engine and make their replacement, reassemble, then retest and save weeks. Historically speaking, at least. Also, there's 0 reason to not have a pretty darn close to accurate timeline.
Am I missing something?
