I cannot physically answer all of your emails as the entire team is busy working with potential distributors and buyers/licensors of our products full time. Any announcements on the numbers will be made in due course or on the 10Q filings. The shareprice is terrible. We know that, and 100% of our efforts are on sales and marketing of the products/software.
For example, Kampala City has an estimated 250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand motor cycle taxis). It is the objective of the local Council Authority to have all moto taxis (bodabodas) that operate within the city
limits to be registered so as to be given a special license to operate. To date a total of 53,000 (fifty three thousand) have been officially registered with the Kampala City Council Authority. The registration process
is ongoing and meant to largely draw new regulations regarding the safe use of moto taxis in the city. The exercise will be taken to other major cities and towns in Uganda eventually.
Our contacts there have strongly lobbied for their inclusion and participation in the Bodaboda safety talks. (Bodaboda is the word used for moto taxi in the East African region). The officials at the City Authority appear mesmerized by the potential merits of the moto meter and would like to see how it works. So, we are in the process of putting together sample units and materials to help them make the case.
Our feeling is that once we have traction in a region, that the Moto-Meter will become standard. Imagine jumping into a cab without a taxi meter when all around you, taxis have some sort of metering. You wouldn't. Our first Indonesian customer is now running trials, and our first Indian customer will be doing the same. We are very positive that as we roll out the Moto-Meter, its adoption happens quickly.
We are at a pivotal stage of the company's growth, and success in the share price can only be followed by real sales/partnerships. We expect to have more announcements in due course, and believe that you will see the
potential upon which we are now working to capitalize.
On a final note, I am now waiting for shipping confirmation of your
Moto-Meter and will send that to you in due course.
