Ah, come on! TSMC already hasn't enough money to spend its 10+ billion Capex a year and Samsung already has a lead. How can this not be negative for TSMC? But well, some people stick with their argument forever ...

The most likely duopoly going into the future is Intel/Micron and Samsung. Samsung is in better condition, though. At least Intel's business isn't affected by customer wins as is TSMC by Samsung, so they don't really depend on it (yet). Intel will compete in the foundry space for sure, but they really need to get their act together now, also in mobile.
