You are right they would be nuts not to be because they are playing their little game that may result having some nice time at prison.

Naked shorting is illegal and there are increasing number of investigations and severe penalties (bankers are not the highest ranked people at prison;))

Usually shorties close their positions before r/s. They would be nuts not to...
