All these claims that CA medical MJ CANNOT be for profit before 0001 hours on 1 Jan 2018 make me LOL.

The state government of CA is BROKE. They are desperately seeking new tax revenue. To get this new mj revenue they will accelerate to a date much earlier than the NOT LATER THAN date of 0001 hours of 1 Jan 2018.

NOWHERE in the 3 new laws does it state business license CANNOT exist prior to 2018. It means the state MUST offer them not later than 1 Jan 2018.

VERY likely YES due to huge amounts of tax revenue to be collected from "for profit" business. Not to even mention recreational CA mj before 0001 hours on 1 Jan 2018 and the MASSIVE taxes politicians want to take from recreational mj.

The political elected and appointed spenders of taxes are plotting right now how to get this moving ASAP. Their grubby little fingers are ready to tax this new mj source of income right now! You think the greedy bureaucrats will wait until 2018? LOL!
