ONLY DID 1 CHANNEL CHECK THIS WEEKEND
I no longer feel the need to put so much time and effort into checking up on IVXX sales since I am 100% convinced of its continual growth week after week after week.
In fact, every time I redo my model of Q4 revenue based on production and sales, the next week it becomes completely irrelevant as things are changing so rapidly.
2 weeks ago, I modeled Q4 revenue coming in at $1.02M, largely based on channel checks.
1 week ago, I increased Q4 revenue to $1.38M
A few days ago, I increased Q4 revenue to $2.18M
Here is how my latest conversation went:
"I'm just calling to check in on this week's sales of IVXX."
"Hold on, let me get Pat, he told me when you call to get him."
Pat is now on the line.
"Hey Ryan, how are you?"
"I'm good man, thanks, how are things going with you?"
"Very good, we just had our baby..."
"That is amazing... you must be exhausted..."
"Yes... I have some interesting news for you"
"About IVXX sales or TRTC?"
"Both."
"Are you gonna tell me or are we gonna talk about your baby, nanny, Lamar Odom and your new dab rig for another 20 minutes... You know I am dying to hear about the latest numbers, haha"
"We sold out in 5 days."
"No way, that's impossible, you told me you had supply for at least 3 weeks this time."
"I know. There has been a complete shortage of product around here. They completely ran out of stock and some of my buddies (other dispensary owners in the area) couldn't get their usual supply."
"So all of their usual IVXX customers came to your dispensary instead and that is why you sold out so fast?"
"No, they bought their product from me, I sold it to them at a nice markup."
"Alright man, I am pretty confused, I'm not following you, you lost me."
"I never thought I would ever hear you say that, you always seem to know what I am about to say before I even tell you. You have a really sick mind like that. They bought their supply directly from me in exchange for a ton of edibles and bud that was worth twice as much. Basically we bartered and I made 100%."
"Are they stupid or does the IVXX sell that much faster than the stuff they gave you. Maybe you got shafted in this exchange, haha."
"Nah, we both made out well. They needed the IVXX now because a few big actors and musicians are coming into their shop....And like we talked about this before... That is a huge part of the business around here... So many of our customers are like little kids and they still get starstruck... We get a ton of people coming in here because they heard that &@$)$&@ is buying from us."
"So these Hollywood famous types are that into IVXX?"
"Yeah, I think a few of them might be investors or something..."
"Do know that for a fact or are you just saying..."
"I don't know for sure. Either they are buying the stock or IVXX is the new it thing around here.... Either way, you are all set... IVXX is selling out everywhere and your stock is going to be huge, I think... And soon. And I am really excited for you."
"Thanks man, I really appreciate that, you are a really good guy... A very cool cat. So when are you going to buy in? Are you really gonna keep waiting until we get closer to Cali going rec?"
"Nah man, I finally bought in last week!"
"Man, you suck. You got the damn bottom, lower than me even though I kill myself working this thing."
"Well, your average is pretty damn good, you know how to trade pretty well, you are in the .11s right?"
"Yeah, but you are in the .09s"
"... It won't matter, we will both make crazy coin, man."
"I know, just giving you a hard time, but people like you do irk me, getting the absolute bottom with minimal effort."
"Well, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't have even considered buying, so I owe you bigtime."
