Ibotez- You speak about breaking the international and encryption codes on DVDs as if it was something possible in the future. I copy DVDs I don't have time to view or that i want to take on trips with me using the free Mac app DVD Backup, from Opus, now.
http://www.opuscc.com/download/others.shtml
The coolest feature on Macs is saving these DVD movies to disk images which are usually 2G or less space.
Removing the international keys allows me to play them on any DVD player any where, any time. As I have no intention of using them other then for my viewing pleasure, I feel I am still with the definition of "Fair Use"
The interesting thing is viewing them side by side on my Sony TV and seeing the difference in video quality, with my Mac LCD making the TV's DVD playback pale in comparison.
