Oh, it's all just bought and paid for…. They've been saying Stratasys, DDD, and XONE for years…. personally I always thought XONE was way too slow of a process and not going to make it. DDD started out in rinky dink plastics and I think it remains to be seen whether they'll successfully transition to industrial grade metals; I haven't kept up with SSYS for about a year so don't know what they're doing now, though I know their price is way down- to me EOS, Additive Industries, Materialise, and (I hope!) SGLB are more likely in terms of additive MANUFACTURING…. I mean if the METALFAB1 machine does what it says it can, the SSYS, DDD and XONE are going to be obsolete pretty quickly unless they can adapt. If you look at the brands of the machines GE/Morris has, I think the lay of the land becomes pretty clear. All IMO, of course.
