I'll go one further and say that with or without any change in AMD's demand they might not find it worth their while to court Apple. Besides, since when does a barely afloat company try to save other barely afloat companies?

I expect AMD to pick up the pieces and move on better than Apple will. (In my youth I was a diehard Apple evangelist. Of course that was prior to Dos 5, WFWG 3.11, and truly cheap windows PCs, live and learn eh?).

Of course Muzosi had the better reply: " how so ? i think the issue is not the isa (cpu) but the api (os). having os-x running on x86 wouldn't help, imo. if they could get msft to port win-xp to powerpc, that would be different question."
