Off on Vacation...I won't post for ten days.
...Wife and I are taking a fall trip, something I'd never be able to do teaching. Going down to Tenn. to visit some family and then off to the Smokey Mountains for some fall color and hikes.
Have a cabin booked in the mountains of NC. Interesting in that I had never been in NC in my life until we vacationed at the Outer Banks this summer, and now I'm going back again.
Cleaned up my portfolio, selling off the little bit of DRIP and XIV I had given the market is exactly, and I do mean exactly, on the knife edge. When I come back I could well be 25% in TLT and 25% DOG.
In the mean time I'll keep holding the risk off currencies FXE/FXY and Gold with very little chance I'll adjust these holding, with the exception of gold if risk turns completely off, which will have me selling Au and buying more euro/yen.
