Shareholder emails and website postings would be great. But, can you imagine the fuss about not putting the information from a shareholder email or website posting into a press release? And, SEC filings are quarterly. Can you imagine waiting quarterly for any idea on what the company is doing? Do you think shareholders have that kind of patience?

I want to know all that stuff. I just don't need it in a PR, I'm happy with a company website posting, shareholder e-mail, or notes in the quarterly SEC filings (ie the 10-Q).

PRs can be just for clinical starts, results, major FDA decisions, and partnership/licensing deals.
