I agree for the most part. Kia has the K900 which I think is about the same car. I was asked to come in and test drive it, and I'm talking with the owner of the dealership and he comments that the price is about $10k too high. They want between $62-67k for the Equus. It should probably be selling in the $50's. But then again, it compares very well with a $80k BMW and Mercedes.
Here's the problem, the dealerships promise you great service, and they do for the first year. Then it becomes just another car.
I am driving a Lincoln now. I was comparing it with the Lexus, and while the Lincoln has far more features for the money, even though when I take it in for service, they give me Lincoln treatment, it's still just an expensive Ford.

All my buddies get their Lexus's and Infiniti's picked up for service from their homes. I have to take mine in and wait for it, or wait until they can find me a loaner. 2 or 3 years from now when I'm thinking about something new, I'm not remembering the price difference, I'm thinking about the time wasted.

Just my opinion, of course.
