How can you launch a hotel booking site even as Beta with the main feature of being able to book a hotel non-functional? That is the most important feature. Also with the booking feature missing this site is not feature complete. In the software release cycle that is a requirement before you can label something as Beta: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle.

At this stage this is just a prototype or in more technical terms an Alpha release. They need to fix ASAP the css (layout issues) on the main page and the decimal issue with the prices ($102.7 needs to be $102.70). Those are easy things to fix. They should also highlight hotels that can be booked exclusively to them.

I hope the next press release includes an apology for the fiasco of this "BETA" release and an outline of how they plan to improve the site. I would also like to know what the advertising/marketing strategy is.

It is so frustrating they are 80% of the way there. If the CEO or Softon needs to go to get this 100% then so be it.
