As I have already explained as clearly as possible:
The $10 is STATED consideration. A deed must state consideration; it does not require the actual consideration paid. The transfer forms at the County will ask for the actual consideration, which we know is $344,000. Some years back that the stated consideration was commonly stated as $1 being paid. Then over the past several years its been $10.
Do not confuse legal consideration and the purchase price. Legal consideration is what is required for the transfer; the deed can state "$10 and other valuable consideration", and that is fine.
