I think the Saudi's are feeling very squeezed by the emergence of the Russian military alliance with Iran. If hostilities break out between the Shiite Alliance and the Sunni Alliance, all other market factors are out the window.
Personally, I think it inevitable, given the stated goals of the Gulf States Coalition to subdue Yemen before entering into Syria, but that is a harder thing to call than a bull or bear market.
