QDLED-OLED TV pricewar heating-up...
...knowing that OLED's are still more expensive to make than QDTV, I would surmise that LG is 'subsidizing' (absorbing) the costs overruns to create the illusion of actually being cheaper...a long-held (but shady) biz-plan in the orient: http://www.wired.com/2015/10/lgs-4k-oled-tvs-now-cheaper-4k-lcd-sets/
But while OLED-TV is already maxed-out on being sustainable pricewise, indications are that the pricing of QDTV's have a lot more room to move on a competitive cost basis...this should be interesting to see how this all plays out.
