What do you want him to do? Issue a promising PR prematurely to get the share price up? That's convinient for you but puts his credibility at risk should any deal fall through. A bagholder throwing a hissy fit isn't a good reason to put the reputation of his business at risk.

I get it, you wanted a quick buck, Scammy CEOs are good for that, they issue promising PRs of mergers or funding and pump the price up.
