But there is something really nice about putting some flower material into a glass chamber, heating it and inhaling the vapors. I know there will be a lot of research and development to getting oils right
in all cases extractions will contain the main ingredients of the medicine - the THC, CBD
but there is a lot going on in that flower - there are terpenes - and there is growing evidence that these provide part of the therapeutic value associated with cannabis
i am just trying to say that although extractions have their uses - especially with people that want extreme dosages - and they are a definite goal for CGC and should be tried for sure - but that doesn't mean it is the best way for everyone to try and enjoy using cannabis.
here is an example of how far down the rabbit hole you can go
https://www.leafly.com/news/cannabis-101/what-is-limonene-and-what-are-the-benefits-of-this-cannabis-terpe
that is just one terpene - they say it has effects though, who knows, but it tastes delicious
If you want to inhale a nice smelling natural herbal vapor - no need to go with extracts
all that being said, I am sure CGC is looking into the whole Terpene issue - there are certainly ways they can be isolated and added back into the oil - even with pharmaceutical precision
I guess what you need to understand is there are many different vaporizeable elements in cannabis - they all have different melting points and evaporation points - you can't get it all into a liquid oil form with a simple one step process - but you can get the main cannabanoids that way, and you lose other oils and liquids in the process
but with vaporization of whole bud material you use heat to extract the oil directly from the plant - in this one step process you are converting most of the cannabanoid oils and the terpenes at the same time - the terpenes go faster because they have a lower vaporization point.

my wife loves this one, I am stupid and prefer joints
I think - with cannabis it is like a hobby if you want it to be, you can be a connoisseur and learn to appreciate the taste and other properties of the vapor
only reason I am bringing this all up is because you were saying an inhaler was something you thought would be a great way to medicate, something relaxing about inhaling - Get the Arizer Solo direct from Tweed and try some whole bud or milled product - if you get whole bud you will need a 'grinder' or a pair of scissors - obviously you are new at this, right?
Trust me, you will love it
Stinger: And if you screw up just this much, you'll be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong!
Maverick: Yes, sir!
