Thanks for that further material Smile







Quite some time ago, we were told of Messrs Nicholson and Wood
making 'stellar' progress - so it would be interesting to know,
or even to speculate !, as to what that progress has entailed..


And why such progress has been followed by yet another significant silence : how complicated can an Acquisition be ? for example, is there a kind of bidding process, maybe with sealed envelopes, or
involving various phases and layers of bureaucracy?

It looks to the uninformed and impatient outsider as if it should be
a simple and 'first come first serve' process..with the usual amount of regulatory checks...so why so slow ?

As you infer, the companies are in good condition, having fallen foul of market changes...so if a buyer comes along, and everyone is saying 'yes'....and then...??
