That is the most crucial factor in this pyrolysis process. Getting the heat to the plastic to melt it. Those who solve this best will reap whatever reward will arise.

Using oil to do that job is not my idea of an effective heat transfer medium. Others use sand and other solids that are reclaimed and reused. They are heated in one device and added to the plastic in another retort to do their job.
