Changing their stance on cannabis mid campaign would be political suicide imo. The other parties would have fodder for tbe fire and everything theve said thus far would become hipocritical. The common sence conservatives would favor the policy, but the party itself would suffer politically. I think, the conservatives lose, liberals win, the conservatives get their rightful positions in question period to criticize every move the governing liberals make and babble on regressively about something Canada is forging progressively. Thats how poilics usually plays anyway
