Wow!! 2da, you went above and beyond, with tact and purpose!! If you're luckily enough to receive remotely direct answers to your questions, it could put so much in perspective. Perhaps even shed some light in all those dark corners of that snake pit they call a BoD. Like you, I have always wondered what deal really went down behind closed doors that got Denner to "settle" for just HB taking an early retirement. Denner obviously had all the ammo he needed to throw the book at HB and his band of brothers. I want those extra board seats to have Denner in mind...to have the touted "shareholder value" in mind. Your extensive research and history with Ariad has served you well my friend. This is clearly demonstrated by your razor sharp delivery that is both precise and on point. Like most on this board, I expected nothing less. As for our fearless leader, you know, the one that "exceeded expectations", I could find a few other choice words to describe his recent accomplishments as CEO of Ariad. Just reading that line describing his leadership makes my blood boil. $3.4M, and he takes even more on the way out. Disgusting. One cheap, well placed boot would suffice in my eyes. I would happy to donate to the cause. Very curious to see if we can get some direction on bullets 8 and 9. I sure hope they have some positive, possibly "strategic" reasons for delaying 113 and remaining so dang quiet on 788. The longer the delay, the shorter my fingernails get.

Your efforts and insight are greatly appreciated on this board. The same can be said for this attempt at getting some much needed and deserved answers to your very legitimate questions and concerns. As others have stated, I too have always enjoyed and respected your input and look forward to sharing a day of celebration when this ship comes in and it's Mission Accomplished. Salute!!

On a different note, I really liked the "A Few Good Men" reference Like I said before, lets just hope the response you get from management is better than the one Cruise received from Nicholson.
