LOL! UF is now promoting UPSCALED HD files as "4K"!!! LMAO!!! The desperation at NTEK headquarters can be smelled through the interwebs now.

NTEK gott the same exact HD files from Paramount as all the other NON-EXCLUSIVE lessees of the content - which CURRENTLY include Epix, TMC, Showtime, Cinemax, STDIO, and BBCA (BBC America - which is showing the Star Trek movies yesterday and today - FREE).

Upscaling them - which any smart 4K TV can automatically do - adds ZERO value and ZERO resolution improvement.

And no 4K certification logos because it's nott real 4K - it's UPSCALED from HD source files.

100 movies on ONE disk - according to WireTransfer at the SHNM. Those can't even be full HD - they must be compressed HD at most.

A full 2hr movie mastered in 4K is 8 TERABYTES - or two of the biggest external hard drives you can buy - for ONE 120 minute flick.

NTEK claims Paramount gave them 100 movies on ONE disk. That's at most compressed HD in 720. A 1080 COMPRESSED file takes up over 6 Gigs for 30 minutes - and that's lossy bigtime.

Even at BluRay levels, 100 flicks would require 100 BluRay disks.

UPSCALED 720 advertised as 4K is FRAUD - pure and simple FRAUD.
