i remember thorpe discussing chimeric vs fully human in one of his talks... fully human was not necessarily better in that (if i can recall) his explanation was the chimeric part may have been part of the immune response ie something is different here, better check it out...

this was years ago and my memory is fading... did love listening to his talks with his enthusiasm and british accent
