Why brush your teeth if they are going to all fall out at some point anyway? Why take a shower, you're just going to get dirty again. Why make an effort at a meaningful life when you are going to die anyway. Why have any hope or optimism when its so much easier to remain passive and pessimistic? Thankfully, 2da and the majority of the planet doesn't take the easy road, the pessimistic road. Life is too short to deny oneself of opportunities to improve ones current situation. The fact that 2da is not only capable, but willing to try and make an effort to communicate with Ariad is absolutely reason to give thanks. My guess, that very praise is at the very bottom of the list when it comes to the motivation behind such attempts. His genuine efforts could potentially gain information and insight to be shared with the greater good. To that, I will gladly say thanks. As for the pessimistic approach, I say thanks for nothing.
