A decent detailed update on what Jack is up to would definitely be very beneficial.
The test with Cummins is definitely crucial, but its one baby step in a long process. Positive results there would definitely provide a spike to the stock, but it wont hold. Profits create that hold and even if Cummins thinks this product is the greatest thing since pockets, they still have to go through vigorous field tests outside the control of Coates before they would actually commit to creating any sort of real joint venture. Then at that point they have to convince their customers to buy...and I can tell you from my point of view that when a rep comes into my office and tries to sell me any sort of new technology, I require 3 or 4 references running in our environment that have had that equipment running for a few years before I really give it a second look....which you can obviously see the dilemma there when it comes to making sales and generating profits. This product may do amazing things, but it's not going to take the world by storm in the next 6-12 months. In China, North Africa, and the middle east, maybe they can do big things over there because they are more able to take large risk and not function under strict policies and standards.
