Increasing interest from E.U.Air Forces for QuickDrop™....

Coda Octopus Martech

Designed in collaboration with Amsafe Bridport’s engineers, Coda Octopus
Martech developed and manufactures the control hardware for Amsafe’s Quick-
Drop™ product and Amsafe have recently placed an order for eighty ECUs and
cable assemblies from Martech to meet a requirement for QuickDrop™ from a
European Air Force. A second order for a different country is also anticipated later
this year.
QuickDrop™ is an innovative helicopter under-slung cargo strop (long-line) that
allows cargo loads to be remotely released from the aircraft cabin. This capability
enables an aircraft operator to deliver cargo independently of ground-crew. The
remote release of cargo from the aircraft facilitates safer cargo delivery, reduces
the risk to personnel and increases operational tempo.
