In the financial markets (stocks), instead of # we use the $ (money symbol) when referring to specific tickers.
So for example you go to the search bar and type: $TWTR
This will bring up results of everyone tweeting about the Twitter stock.
The same can be done when searching for any other ticker :$SKYF
When searching for the results you will see users talking about SKYF, most are real users, with relevant posts however there's some that are at 1 minute saying SKYF is going to pennies soon and then all of sudden tweets in Arabic, and then a minute later tweets about being inspirational in life. It's obviously a bot someone is talking through
