The technology can help prevent the spread of insect-borne diseases, by repelling insects away from a person wearing NFZ-treated apparel or gear. Burlington’s proprietary patented NFZ binding system technology is consistent can be processed with various types of fibers including nylon, polyester, cotton, wool and aramids. According to Burlington, the No Fly Zone® fabric is one of the most efficient permethrin fabric treatment processes available. It is odorless, requires no additional garment processing, and is durable for up to 70 washings.
