I think a little due diligence is in order.

First, companies like Gatorade and Powerade do not dictate shelf space for competitors. If that were the case then there would be no competition for beverages.

Can you imagine a beverage section with only Coca Cola products?

Retailers and distributors are the ones who allocate shelf space and they welcome new beverages that sell.

These two individuals were a part of the success for SOBE beverages, Arizona Ice Tea and Xyience.

Peter Busch of the Annheiser Busch family sits on the Advisory Board and owns one of the largest beverage distribution companies in the Southeast United States.

As for the athletes, these are athletes under signed contract endorsements. This is why they not only take pictures with the product but also tweet and post pictures on Instagram.

Yes, these are all verifiable things that we can find out with proper due diligence.
