What many people don't understand and what probably explains the perceived "cultish" behavior of Insmed shareholders is that there is background manipulation against the company. On good days I perceive the manipulation as fierce competition and other days as borderline illegal. The battle for IGF has been fought between Genentech and Celtrix/Insmed since the early 90's and continues. I am never surprised by the devious business practices used by Tercica to dominate Insmed, and anyone who thinks otherwise is not paying attention or has not done their due diligence. There is a constant barrage of misinformed "talking points" put forward into the equities community regarding Insmed and its product. One has to ask themselves "to what purpose"?
