They are probably trying to shift the scrutiny away from the increasing DILUTION an other negative facts by moving the focus to "outside influences". The "outside influences" is a convenient scapegoat for an increasing lack of transparency. An old trick, indeed.

I sincerely doubt ANYONE has been harassing any of their vendors. It is most likely just a ruse by the company to discourage anyone from calling to check up on them.

My guess is they are trying to hide something.
