It's all stretched HD - Period

Let's just put this latest P&D ruse to bed once and for all. I understand people get easily confused and mislead by terminology, but the simple fact remains that true 4K only exist if a company goes back to the original film master, scans each full frame, eliminates dust, noise and related decay and then goes through a long process to correctly move the 4K retained in the original FILM MASTER to data.

Let's just quote NTEK's very own IR rep, as posted by Wong on the Nano FB Investor Page:

"It should not take but a week to have them all upscaled and optimized for 4K."

Upscaled is NOT native 4K. Upscaled is just what it says, taking a lower resolution file and upscaling it. Dead giveaway. Optimized is not 4K. Optimizing is taking a 720 or 1080 frame and stretching it to 2160. Another dead giveaway.

The Paramount titles were supplied to Nano as HD compressed files. Nano was not allowed to go back to the only 4K inherent in these titles, which would be the original film titles. Period.

Feel free to reach out to Nano for confirmation, or again, take it from their very own IR rep. They will both tell you that Nano DID NOT GET FILM MASTERS. They only received HD FILES. Period.

Let's quote Wong from Nano IR one more time, for the record, to clear up all the pumping and misinformation:

"It should not take but a week to have them all upscaled and optimized for 4K.

Just the facts.
