"If you're a highly productive person and their products help you to be more productive, then why not? I use an expensive MacBook Pro and I have an iPhone 6 and they're both great products that I use daily for work and personal stuff."

I value my time such that I don't use cheap tools, or cheap entertainment. At x-hundred an hour, spending more time fiddling with tools is wasteful.

I've been using Macs since I left Intel in 1986. My primitive cellphones were replaced by iPhones (the earlier phones had primitive apps that were hard to download, did nothing useful, and were hard to use).

Android has gotten better, no doubt. Linux offers no advantage over Unix, which I have with my Macs.
