Maybe Not "Paid Bashers", But Certainly Organized Efforts To

Totally disrupt and take over a board do occur. It will start with an innocuous post like "Is this a good stock?", then erupts in a torrent of posts deliberately designed to goad and taunt unsuspecting members into posts and replies that end up being deleted. This leads to post restrictions, bans and moderator removals. Then they call the "gang" in to take those mod positions and continue the barrage until any supporters or positive thinkers are driven from the board, by repeating the same "information" endlessly.

How can this be good for ihub, by having legitimate discussion erased and posters driven away?

And this isn't speculation. It's happening right now on the GRTQ board, where it started on 8/24

It happened on the SMCE board starting on 5/22. (RIP SMCE)

On MRIB, starting in April 2014 (RIP MRIB)

And INOH, just to name a few.

I can't understand how this can be acceptable in a forum where everyone is supposed to be on equal footing. Are those on the other end expected to institute similar tactics to defend their right to feel positive and have hope in a stock they are invested in?
Cause these "others" always are quick to point out that they have no financial interest or own any stock in the companies whose boards they are in the process of disrupting.
So what's the purpose?
